This is scrap metal and can be brought to the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road (with gas tank removed).
A private scrap metal hauler may also be called to remove and recycle your appliance.
Disposal
This item may be considered waste and placed for pickup, but the other disposal options outlined under "Recycle" will avoid it being discarded into a landfill.

Lawn Furniture
Reuse
If the furniture is gently used and in good condition (and not excessively large), it can be donated to the Salvation Army. You can call to schedule a pickup of your furniture. Call: 1-800-958-7825. The Salvation Army accepts appliances, clothing, household goods, and cars.
Recycle
If the lawn furniture is metal, it can be recycled at the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road.
Disposal
If your furniture cannot be donated, residents can bring it to the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road. Please see website for list of costs.
Lawn Mowers
Reuse
Currently, there is no reuse option available for this item.
Recycle
Can be brought to the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road.
Alternatively, it can go to a junkyard.
Disposal
Leaf and Yard Debris
Reuse
Leaves and organic yard debris can be composted.
Recycle
Whenever possible, compost leaves. If you have wooded property, the leaves will naturally compost if raked or swept into the woods.
Do not cover curbs, irrigation pipes, sprinklers, or water curb boxes with leaves. They could be damaged by heavy equipment removing leaves. Do not pile the leaves near stone walls, fences, trees, or mailboxes.

Metal Sheds
Recycle
This is scrap metal and can be brought in pieces to the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road.

Potted Plant Containers
Reuse
Currently, there is no reuse option available for this item.
Recycle
Plastic flower pots numbered #1-7 must be recycled. Place with comingled recycling. Must be clean and empty.
Disposal
Ceramic or pottery pots are not recyclable and should be placed with waste.
Propane Gas Tanks

Currently, there is no reuse option available for this item.
Recycle
Bring empty propane gas tanks to Home Depot.
Most sellers of propane will have a return policy for propane tanks.

If the tool is made of metal it can be recycled as scrap metal at the Recycling Center at 700 Middle Road.
