The Zoning Board of Appeals is currently in need of one full time member and one alternate member. Please send a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen's Office if you are interested. 122 Main Street Acushnet, MA 02743



  • $300.00 for Residential Property
  • $350.00 for Commercial Property

What Is Needed:

Letter of Denial from the Building Department and nine (9) sets of Plans.

For the Town Clerk's Office:

One (1) original application and one (1) copy of plans along with letter of denial from the Building Department.

For the Board of Appeals:

Copy of the application and letter of denial along with nine (9) copies of the plans and receipt from Assessors office, showing you have paid for abutter list. 

Town Clerk must receive paperwork by Noon on the first Monday of the Month. Board of Appeals will hear the case the following Month. Board of Appeals Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of every Month at 6:30 pm, at the Town Hall Meeting Room, 122 Middle Road, Acushnet, MA. Notice of meeting will be mailed out to petitioner prior to scheduled meeting date.
