Notice of Public Disclosure of Preliminary

Property Values for Fiscal Year 2020

The Town of Acushnet, Massachusetts has completed proposed assessments for FY2020, and received “preliminary certification” from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR). The DOR has granted permission to hold Public Disclosure of the proposed assessments of real and personal properties prior to the final certification. The proposed assessments can be viewed at the Assessor’s Office located at 122 Main Street, Acushnet, MA on the following dates and times:

October 15, 2019: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

October 16, 2019: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

October 17, 2019: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

October 18, 2019: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM

October 21, 2019: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The FY 2020 real estate assessments should reflect fair market value as of January 1, 2019. These assessments are based on market activity that occurred during the calendar year 2018.
