Surplus Property Declared
A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE ITEMS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, The Town of Acushnet has authority to declare items as surplus that are no longer deemed necessary or adequate to properly perform the duties of government as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Acushnet Fire and Emergency Management Agency request approval from the Board of Selectmen to declare the attached list of items as surplus property and properly dispose of them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN OF THE TOWN OF ACUSHNET MEETING IN REGULAR SESSION THIS THE 13th DAY OF NOVEMBER 2018, that this Board hereby approves the disposal of the attached list of surplus property.

*Salvage - Personal property that has some value in its basic material content, but which is in such condition that it has no reasonable prospect for use for any purpose as a unit and its repair or rehabilitation for use as a unit is clearly impractical.
Bids - The Town will accept sealed envelope bids until 11:59 am on November 29th. Please address your bid to the Office of the Town Administrator, 122 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743 and in addition write on the outside of the sealed envelope "Surplus Bid." Bids will be opened in public on Thursday, November 29th at noon.
